Sundays at 10:00am

Every Sunday, infants through 5th graders learn the truth about who God is and who they are because of Him through age-specific Bible lessons taught by caring and trusted leaders.  We believe relationships matter.  That's why we want to partner with you to help build a relationship with you and your child so we can encourage kids to grow in their relationship with Jesus.

What's Coming Up.

Meet our directors.

Heather Alwran

Kids Ministry Director
Heather and her family joined Vision in July of 2020. They knew the moment they walked in that they were home. Heather loves children and loves discipling kids and students. She felt God's calling on her life to minister to kids in 2018, when she became a mother.

Heather loves God, her family, and church family. The Holy Spirit has combined Heather's experience with her spiritual gifts and is using her to love and serve the families at Vision.  She is very excited to see life change in little hearts as well as to help other parents in discipleship from home. If she is not at Vision then you can probably find her running, hiking or biking on a trail. She also loves spending time with her family at the beach and connecting with God's people.

Missy Brown

V-Town Director
Missy has over 20 years of experience in Kids Ministry. Not only that, but Missy is also a mother of 5 with 3 amazing grand babies! She gave her life to the Lord at 9 and understands the huge impact Kids Ministry has in the Kingdom of God. "The Lord gave me a heart for children at a very young age. My desire is to leave an impact for the Lord on every life that I come in contact with! The Vision Kids Dream Team prays that we never settle for good, but that we continue seeking the best for the Lord in this ministry. We truly want the families at Vision to grow to know the Lord and hope to develop spiritual disciplines to help them continue a dynamic relationship with the Lord throughout their lives so they can live it out for their children."

Ashley Lawson

V-City Director
Ashley brings 15 years of experience in Kids Ministry and 14 years of teaching. During those years of ministry she has led in all generations from nursery to youth. Not only does she have a heart for Kids Ministry, but also for children in general. Her background in teaching is special education, and she has worked with a range of students from having significant needs to very high functioning and academically gifted.  Ashley is also a mother of 5 ages 5-23 years. "My husband and I have been married for almost 14 years and I have seen God's hands at work through many trials. I have a heart for ALL children and believe we have to equip our children to go and be the church. I want to show them God's love and how they can shine Jesus's light to others through love."

Vision Kids are safe.

SAFETY & SECURITY ARE TOP, TIPPY TOP, PRIORITIES FOR US AT VISION.
HERE ARE JUST 4 OF OUR SAFETY & SECURITY FEATURES.

SECURE CHECK-IN

Upon arrival, all kids are checked in. Families get a unique code at every check-in. Parents hang on to your code card, and use it when picking up their kids. We use check-in for every service and kid's event that we host.

security team

We have men and women serving each Sunday on the Vision Security Team. Security team members are trained and ready to provide for our safety needs if they arise. There is security during every service and kids event.

Team training

Vision Kids teachers, leaders and volunteers are trained on first aid & safety practices. All our volunteers have background checks.  We have professional special needs teachers on our team, that serve as needed to provide care for kids & families that require additional support. We are allergy aware and our building is tree nut & peanut free.

Buildings & classrooms

Our Next Gen Building has recently undergone renovation to all classrooms and common areas, to ensure safety and to improve our families experience! Our rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable! We offer a calm, sensory space for our friends to explore, Chillville. Here, kids can pray, explore and have fun at their own pace.
