Christmas is over, the decorations are coming down, and the question hits: now what? In Matthew 2 and Romans 5, we’re reminded that the pre-Christmas story is about hope, but the post-Christmas story is about obedience—learning to follow God in everyday life, even when it’s hard, even when it’s a detour, and even when it doesn’t make sense yet. So here’s the simple question to carry into the new year: Where is God calling you to obey Him right now?
